What topics does SME and craft management deal with?

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the German economy. This is where most jobs are created and most taxes are paid. The specialization "SME and Craft Management" supports your career in small and medium-sized companies as well as in the craft sector.

Mastering challenges

180,000 businesses across Germany are currently looking for a successor, according to a recent survey by the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts. In this compulsory elective subject, you will learn how to react optimally to the relevant challenges and how to overcome company crises step by step. You will gain in-depth knowledge of project, process and quality management and deal with legal principles. Good to know: Together with the compulsory modules, the elective subject covers all the business management content of the master craftsman examination.
