The MBA „General Management“ with three semesters is the ideale Aufbaustudiengang für Fachkräfte mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrungwho already have a first, non-economics degree with at least 210 ECTS. On this course, you will acquire a high level of business management know-how that will be of great benefit to you in the further course of your career. The MBA in General Management is divided into three study sections.

In the first semester, you will receive an introduction to academic work and the methods of empirical research. This module is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the conventions of scientific work in economics. In the "Strategic Management and Organization" module, you will receive an introduction to the basics of business administration, but will also deal with strategic management and marketing. You will then receive an introduction to project management. Finally, the basics of internal and external accounting in the module "Accounting and Controlling" round off the first semester.

Im zweiten Semester beschäftigen Sie sich im Modul „Human Resources Management und Leadership“ mit dem gesamten Prozess des Personalmanagements und entwickeln Ihre Führungskompetenzen weiter. Anschließend befassen Sie sich mit den Themenbereichen Finanzmanagement, Finanzierung und Investitionsrechnung im Modul „Corporate Finance“. Daraufhin erhalten Sie eine Einführung in die aktuellen Themen Changemanagement und Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement. Effiziente Prozesse und ein robustes Informationsmanagement sind entscheidend für den Unternehmenserfolg. Daher beschäftigen Sie sich zum Ende des zweiten Semesters mit dem Modul „Prozess- und Informationsmanagement“.

The third semester is dedicated to your specialization module and Master's thesis. Here you can choose a module from over 30 subject areas. The Master's thesis, including a colloquium, in which you work independently on a complex topic using scientific methods, concludes your studies. You have four months to complete this. You can choose the topic yourself.

MBA program "General Management" with specialization in

The MBA-Studiengang „General Management“ with a specialization gives you the opportunity to specialize in one of twelve specializations offered (e.g. Human Resources Management, International Business, Business Psychology or Engineering Management).
