Your business studies with a special focus
You will complete a comprehensive business administration course and acquire knowledge in business administration, corporate management, personnel management, marketing, accounting I and II, cost accounting & controlling, taxes, investment and financing. You will also study the content and methodological foundations of the related disciplines of law, economics, statistics and mathematics. Business English and knowledge of business informatics round off your profile.
You will also delve deeper into the topic of "digitalization" and learn about the success factors of digital business models and companies.
The digital transformation is fundamentally changing companies in many areas of the economy. For example, more and more sales are migrating from chain stores to the internet. On the other hand, the internet is enabling business models that were previously unthinkable. Graduates with a focus on "Digital Business Management" help companies to recognize this potential and open up new business areas.
Shaping the future
In the "Digital Business Management" course at Allensbach University, you will learn how to develop and plan digital business models yourself. You will also learn how to analyze existing models and assess their value.
Leadership is also an issue. Nowadays, employees often don't work together in one place like they used to. How can such teams be coordinated efficiently? How can you inspire employees and colleagues from different generations and cultures? Media skills have also changed. You will learn how to visualize business ideas and develop them further together with business partners or customers (social prototyping). You will also deal with topics such as operational information management and digital marketing.
Find jobs
Graduates of this elective area have qualified for specialist and management roles in companies and organizations affected by digitalization. Employers can be found in many industries:

If your personal or professional situation requires it, you can always extend your studies free of charge for up to 18 months. After that, there are further fee-based extension options.
