Your business studies with a special focus
You will complete a comprehensive business administration course and acquire knowledge in business administration, corporate management, personnel management, marketing, accounting I and II, cost accounting & controlling, taxes, investment and financing. Business English and knowledge of business informatics round off your profile.
You will also prepare yourself specifically for a particular area of activity in the company in your major field of study!
With the triumphant advance of the internet, media behavior has changed and so has marketing. Online marketing and social media are becoming increasingly important for reaching prospective buyers. Many companies use these channels to pass on information and influence consumer behavior. Unlike in the past, the success of digital marketing campaigns can also be measured directly. This results in completely new requirements - and new exciting fields of activity.
Planning marketing campaigns
In the compulsory elective "Digital Marketing Management", students receive practical and project-oriented training in the planning and execution of marketing projects. You will learn how to design digital campaigns and landing pages, measure the success of the measures and manage newsletter marketing. You will also learn how to work successfully with agencies and editors and which social media channel is best suited for which purpose and target group.
The prospects
As a graduate in the field of digital marketing, you can work in brand and marketing management, communication, product management and online marketing. Graduates are suitable as:

The standard period of study of 3 years (6 semesters) corresponds to a full-time course of study, so the duration of the course will be longer if you are studying alongside your job. However, your relevant experience as a professional will give you the opportunity to combine your studies with practical knowledge and, for example, to work on practical topics in term papers or theses.
If your personal or professional situation requires it, you can always extend your studies free of charge for up to 18 months. After that, there are further fee-based extension options.
You can find all the important information about your degree program in your personal study guide.
