Biography

Holger Zinn studied economics with a focus on marketing at the Philipps University of Marburg. He then completed a degree in history. After completing his doctorate, he worked for several years in a management consultancy in the areas of strategic and marketing consulting. For around 20 years, he has worked as a freelance management consultant (industry focus: education, public transport, social economy) and in teaching at universities and in adult education. Since 2010, he has regularly acted as an expert witness on marketing issues for courts, companies and private individuals. He has been a professor of economics at Allensbach University since 2019. Prof. Zinn is the winner of the 2017 Forum DistancE-Learning Special Jury Prize for his publication on the history of distance learning.
