Prof. Dr. Jürgen Wagenmann
(born 1961) is Professor of General Business Administration, Head of the Institute for SMEs and Crafts at Allensbach University of Applied Sciences and managing partner of a group of management consulting companies.
After studying economics and completing his doctorate at the Institute of Finance at the University of Freiburg i.Br., his professional career initially took him to management positions in corporate finance at major German banks, then to international management consultancy at Ernst & Young and a German Chamber of Commerce in the Far East. He then moved into university teaching with full professorships, first at a state university near Berlin, then at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University and, in parallel, an (associate) professorship at a business university in China, and finally, since January 1, 2019, at Allensbach University of Applied Sciences in Konstanz. His academic focus is on "International Management", "Internationalization Strategies" and "Global Corporate Finance", each with a focus on SMEs.
