Prof. MMag. Dr. Martin Bauer studied business administration and business education. He completed his doctorate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration on the subject of "Failure of complex innovation processes".
Bauer has worked for many years as a senior lecturer in universities, colleges, adult education, further education and vocational schools. He also supports and advises university and higher education institutions throughout the EU on accreditations and activities in the field of further and continuing education.
Bauer worked at the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences and the Ferdinand Porsche University of Applied Sciences. During this period, he was responsible for the development of studies in the field of health and safety and for external relations (cooperation). He was later commissioned by the Rector of the University of Graz, Prof. Gutschelhofer, to set up and expand the university's continuing education and training program, which until then had been limited to a few one-day seminars. As Director of Continuing Education and Managing Director, he succeeded in establishing the outsourced continuing education institutions of UNI Graz (including UNI for LIFE) as a permanent fixture in the Austrian university education market with over 70 postgraduate courses and more than 3,000 participants. During these years, Bauer has been nominated and awarded several times for various Austrian state prizes in the field of education (State Prize for Adult Education, Styrian Children's Rights Prize, award from the Federal Ministry of the Interior, ...).
Mr. Bauer has extensive teaching experience at numerous educational institutions (University of Graz: Institute for Business Education, Institute for Education and Educational Sciences; FH Wiener Neustadt: Department of Finance; University of Applied Sciences: Department of Management and Communication; Federal Institute for Elementary Education: Department of Inclusive Elementary Education; ...).
He is head of the M.A. Business Education program at Allensbach University.
