Biography

Dr. Patrick Peters studied German, English and American literature in Duisburg and Essen and received his doctorate in 2013 with a thesis on the poetry of the late Enlightenment at the University of Wuppertal. He holds an MBA with a focus on general management and has completed several university certificates in leadership, quality and project management and media didactics, is a trained business journalist and lives as a publicist and communications consultant with his family in Mönchengladbach.

After completing his studies, Peters worked for many years in the editorial department for special topics at a large Rhineland publishing house and has been self-employed since fall 2017 (Klare Botschaften - Beratung für Unternehmenskommunikation und Strategie). He writes about business, finance, tax and law, focuses on advising professional service firms, financial services and real estate companies on strategic communication and positioning and is active as a supervisory board member, editor and author of scientific publications. In addition to the interface between communication and business, he deals extensively with impact investing, sustainability and ethical issues in business - from business and corporate ethics in general to leadership ethics in particular.

At Allensbach University, he is a member of the editorial board of the academic journal "Zeitschrift für Interdisziplinäre Ökonomische Forschung" (Journal for Interdisciplinary Economic Research) and serves as Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching Material Development. As a member of the faculty, he works to continuously develop Allensbach University's research priorities and regularly addresses highly topical issues in academic research.
