Allensbach University awarded with digitization badge

Digital continuing education courses on the continuing education portal of the state of Baden-Württemberg have been awarded a new seal of quality. The "digitalization badge" highlights education providers that demonstrably offer technically supported teaching and learning scenarios, for example online courses.

Since its foundation, Allensbach University in Constance has stood for a digital learning model and fully online-based lectures. All lectures can be accessed via an online learning system, as can all teaching and exercise materials. Module supervisors are available to answer questions by email or telephone. This allows students to learn autonomously and at their own pace. Allensbach University is also listed in the continuing education portal of the state of Baden-Württemberg as a provider of innovative, economics-oriented courses and has now received a new award as a mark of quality for continuing education courses. "The corona pandemic has highlighted the great importance of digitalization in education and was also a 'catalyst': many face-to-face teaching courses have been and are being replaced by online events, and modern, digital learning tools are increasingly being used. "We have now responded to this positive development by introducing the digitalization badge as a new seal of quality."

"In addition to the advantage for course seekers, the badge in turn creates a special incentive for providers to make further progress in this area," says Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut. This is because the continuing education portal with its wide reach is an important channel for many providers to disseminate their offers. "We want to continue to expand this."
