Management studies for applicants without a degree in economics

If you already have an academic degree without a business background, you can choose from three degree programs at our distance learning university:

• MBA General Management
• MBA General Management Plus
• MBA Engineering Management

The degree program "MBA General Management" is designed for people who already have a first academic degree and want to combine their professional expertise with management skills. This management course is a good choice if you are applying for a management position or want to become self-employed.

Like all our educational programs, this management study program is Exempt from compulsory attendance. The course content is made available on the Internet, where it can be accessed around the clock. This also includes the seminars, which are recorded for the students and can be accessed at any time afterwards.

You can complete your management studies with or without specialization complete the program. The course lasts three or four semesters (MBA General Management Plus) and is worth 90 or 120 ECTS. In order to enrol, you need at least 180 ECTS. If you already have a FH diploma, a BA diploma or a university degree, you can obtain an internationally recognized MBA degree in less than two years.

MBA Engineering Management: Management studies for engineers

For engineers, we offer a management course that focuses on the digital technologies of the future and new business models. You will learn about the central elements of holistic innovation management and combine these with the specialist areas of industrial information management (Industry 4.0) and the Big Data (Data Science Management).

After your management studies, you will be able to act as a coordinator of agile information management. With your management skills, you can lead specific implementation projects or work as a consultant. You will become a sought-after experts for smart data and predictive applicationsso that you can develop any company into a data-driven company after your management studies.

Getting started with the degree program "MBA Engineering Management" is possible at any time. Enrolment requires a first, non-business degree, relevant professional experience and English language skills at B2 level. The standard period of study is 24 months.

Management studies for applicants with a degree in economics

Do you already have a degree in economics or a professional qualification? Then our management degree program "Business administration and management" is the right course for you. The Master's degree course lasts 24 months (full-time study) and can be completed in parallel with your career. One free extension by 50 percent is included in the fees, as with all our degree programs.

The "Business Administration and Management" management degree program includes training in highest and up-to-date level. You will acquire the skills required at management level in companies. The spectrum of employers ranges from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to large companies and international corporations.

The special attraction of the "Business Administration and Management" management degree program is that you can self-selected focus can set. You currently have the choice between the following specializations:
