The Master's in Finance is offered in German and covers all relevant areas of finance through three specializations: Banking, Asset Management and Accounting & Taxation. Students can choose one of these three specializations as their major and thus specialize in their field. The course comprises four semesters and 120 ECTS.
You can start your studies at any time and the flexible distance learning model offers ideal conditions, especially for working students who travel. You can study where and when you want and can also choose your examination dates flexibly. Lectures take place online and are recorded. You can reach your supervising lecturers by email around the clock and do not have to wait for a consultation appointment once a week. If you are unable to complete your studies in four semesters for professional or personal reasons, you are entitled to two additional semesters free of charge.
In the Banking specialization, you will deal with core topics from the areas of sales management, production management, overall bank management and supervisory law. The "Wealth Management" specialization includes specialist areas relevant to you as an asset manager, such as performance analysis in practice, financial and succession planning and private equity and hedge funds. If you work in the finance departments of companies, for example, you will find suitable content on international accounting (IFRS) and national and international tax law in the "Accounting & Taxation" specialization.
