MBA General Management: Course content and structure

The "MBA General Management" degree program is a University education for future managers. Participants in the "MBA General Management" program require a Focus on contentwhich qualifies them for specialized tasks in commercial enterprises. We currently offer the following specializations:

The program is divided into four sections that build on each other. In the first part of the MBA General Management program, you will acquire Basic knowledge of business administration and deal with the economic framework conditions that are relevant for management activities. The next section is dedicated to legal problems and introduces you to accounting, marketing and personnel management.

The third section of the "MBA General Management" course (internationalization and specialization) focuses on Economic and business management issues in the foreground. In a team simulation game, you and your fellow students apply the theoretical knowledge you have acquired to practical problems. This is followed by three modules from the chosen specialization (see above) and the Preparation of the Master's thesis to.

MBA General Management program: Admission requirements and recognition of academic achievements

In order to enrol on the MBA General Management course, you must have a first academic degree from a non-business field. If you would like to study the course without a specialization, a degree with 210 ECTS (e.g. Bachelor's degree or state examination) is sufficient. For the "MBA General Management plus" degree program 180 ECTS required. The Bachelor's and Master's degree programs must be 300 ECTS result.

Further entry requirements are English language skills at level B2 of the Cambridge Certificate and relevant professional experience. If required, you can also prove your English language skills in a telephone interview.

Graduates of other Master's programs may be able to have their academic achievements recognized. Please speak to our student advisory service specifically about this! We are happy to check individually which achievements can be credited to the MBA General Management program.

MBA General Management program: Duration and costs

If you complete the "MBA General Management" program full-time, the standard period of study is 18 months (three semesters). For the variant with a specialization, 24 months must be planned. If you Study while workingthe duration of studies is extended accordingly. A Free extension by up to 50 percent is already included in the fees.

The tuition fees of 590 euros will be deducted from your account each month. If you complete your studies within the standard period of study, the total costs will be 10,620 Euro resp. 14,160 Euro (MBA General Management Plus). If you would like to receive your documents by post, we charge an additional monthly postage fee of 10 euros.

Funding on the basis of the Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG) is unfortunately not an option for the "MBA General Management" course. Although this is a postgraduate course in economics, as the MBA does not build on a specific first degree, funding under BAföG is excluded.

If your previous company benefits from the further qualification measure, a Partial or full assumption of costs be negotiated. Alternative financing models include student loans, scholarships and state benefits such as ALG II (Hartz IV).
