Earn an MBA online - in three to four semesters

If you take up an online MBA course at our university, you will benefit from a modern learning environment and a streamlined curriculum. You can achieve your study goal within three to four semesters (depending on the degree program you choose). Once you have been awarded the title "Master of Business Administration", you will have excellent opportunities on the job market. Take on a high-paying job with management responsibility or climb the career ladder within your company - the development opportunities for MBA holders are practically unlimited. Of course, you do not necessarily have to complete the online MBA course in four semesters: If your professional or personal situation does not allow for a high learning workload, you always have the option to cut back a little. It is also possible to extend your distance learning course by up to 12 months free of charge at our university.

Online MBA: Your study options at a glance

Allensbach University currently offers three versions of the online MBA program. These are

While the standard period of study for the online MBA program "MBA General Management" is 18 or 24 months, the MBA Compact is completed in two semesters as standard. In order to enrol on one of the above-mentioned degree programs, you must have a first, non-economic university degree with at least 240 credit points (MBA Compact) or 210 credit points (e.g. state examination, bachelor's or diploma from all types of university). Professionals who have a degree with 180 ECTS are also eligible for our online MBA programs. The only condition is that you choose the variant with 120 ECTS and also take one of the following specializations:

Entirely flexible: individual combination of three electives

Applicants are expected to have relevant professional experience and language skills at level B2. Language skills can also be demonstrated by telephone if desired. In this case, you must complete a telephone test. Alternatively, an online test can be taken.

Online MBA programs: What to expect during your studies

Our online MBA courses aim to provide you with specialist knowledge in the field of business administration. At the same time, you will receive a sound management education that will qualify you for management tasks in commercial enterprises. The online MBA program "MBA General Management" is ideal for professionals who want to combine their economic expertise with business knowledge and management know-how. On the MBA General Management course, you also choose a specialization (e.g. Human Resources Management, International Business or Engineering Management), allowing you to design your own individual study profile. The Engineering Management specialization is particularly suitable for computer scientists, natural scientists and engineers. The focus here is on the digitalization of business processes, industrial information management (Industry 4.0) and data science management (big data). Alternatively, you can put together your own specialization from all the elective modules.

If you do not wish to complete a full MBA program, you can also start with individual university certificates. These come from the MBA program and can be fully credited. You then have the flexibility to decide whether you want to continue with the MBA.
