Recognition or crediting of prior learning - shorten your studies!

Have you already earned credits at another university or educational institution?

On request, we will be happy to check whether credits already earned at other universities or educational institutions can be recognized or credited to our study programmes. Please submit the relevant grade certificates and proof of the content and duration of the course to the Student Advisory Service. Ideally, you should send us the module catalog and the examination regulations. Professional training courses, such as Business Administration IHK, Business Administration VWA or Business Administration HWK, can be credited towards the Bachelor of Business Administration.

Information on the recognition of academic achievements

A) Notes on recognition and crediting
Recognition or crediting of academic achievements can only be granted if the Conformity of the content (acquired competences according to § 35 para. 1 LHG), level and scope of the study modules with the modules of the degree program at Allensbach University must be approved. Without information on the content and scope of the coursework already completed, recognition or crediting cannot be checked. A maximum of 50 % of the Bachelor's degree program can be replaced by credits earned outside the university.

B) Documents to be submitted
A meaningful overview of course content and scope (in SWS or ECTS) can be found in the Module catalog or the examination/study regulations of the degree program. The Transcript of Records must be submitted.
In principle, the more detailed information you have about the courses you have completed, the easier it is to check whether they can be recognized or credited.

Please submit appropriate Grade certificates and other relevant documents about your academic achievements at the Student Advisory Service of Allensbach University at studium@allensbach-hochschule.de in. You will also receive the Application for recognition or creditingwhich must be submitted within the first month of study at the latest.
