Business English compact

The university certificate "Business English" is a module of the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration. Nowadays, English is the corporate language in many large companies and is also essential for activities with an international focus. In the module "Business English" you will acquire situational oral and written communication skills in English and also revisit key English grammar topics. You will get to know standard situations that regularly occur in business life and practise the necessary expressions and phrases. You will also learn common phrases used in business correspondence.

Further training at university level

For the university certificate you will receive 6 ECTSwhich can be fully credited to the Bachelor's degree program (provided you have a university entrance qualification). So you don't lose any time!

Admission requirements: English language skills at level B1 of the CEFR

Tuition fees: EUR 120 per month, EUR 480 in total.

The university certificate is online, without attendance and without compulsory attendance completed. You will take an online exam. The university certificate concludes at level B2 of the CEFR.

What are the admission requirements?

There are no special admission requirements for the university certificate. However, English language skills at level B1 of the CEFR are required.

How is your course structured?

22 lessons - 1700 interactive exercises with over 50 videos
approx. 84 learning hours: Educational games, crossword puzzles, video quizzes, dialogs to repeat
4 lectures with exercises (90 minutes each, live, online, with recording) per semester to prepare for exams

The module includes 6 ECTS.

How long will your studies take and what degree will you receive?

The standard period of study is four months. You can extend the duration of your studies by a further four months free of charge. The standard period of study can also be shortened, examinations can be taken on ten dates per year.
