International personnel management

The interdependence of the global economy is constantly increasing, as is the degree of internationalization of German companies. This process also requires the further development of human resources and their framework conditions in companies. In this certificate course, you will focus in particular on the special features of international personnel management in the functions of personnel requirements planning, personnel selection and recruitment, personnel development and remuneration.

This also includes the secondment of employees and special challenges for employer branding in an international environment. The strengths of internationalization and globalization lie in the diversity of cultures, but an essential prerequisite is their knowledge and acceptance. You will therefore learn about different cultural theories and the resulting management relationships and cultural standards in different countries.

You will also deal with "political work" (public affairs). This refers to the strategic exertion of influence on political decision-making processes by organizations that operate at the interface between politics, business and society. Public affairs is part of the professional communication work of various organizations and can be a key success factor in global competition.

Who is the course suitable for?

In HR Management, you will be responsible for issues relating to international recruitment and selection, personnel development and remuneration. You will deal with international labor relations and intercultural teams and you will also be expected to maintain contact with local associations, authorities and political representatives.
