Additional modules Management and Innovation

After successful completion of the additional module International Management understand and explain internationalization processes in business, describe the business and economic consequences of internationalization and globalization and understand the internationalization of companies with regard to their key influencing factors and characteristics and explain them using suitable theories.

You will be able to develop international corporate strategies, structure the building blocks of strategic management in multinational companies and design the development of intercultural skills for practical application.

After successfully completing the additional module Corporate management be able to explain the methods and procedures of corporate management with their conceptual components company and management, apply the structure and systematics of the management control loop with the associated functions of corporate management, analyze the content of the sub-functions and understand and explain the interaction of the aforementioned functions of corporate management.

You will learn to assess the importance of a management system, understand the core elements of a company's constitution and corporate governance and understand these. You will be able to assess the importance of corporate culture for corporate management and evaluate the effect of corporate culture on cooperation and assess how it can be shaped. You will also be able to evaluate different forms of organizational structure and assess their respective advantages and disadvantages.

After successful completion of the module Organization and knowledge management be able to explain the goals and tasks of organizational design, describe different organizational models and evaluate their respective strengths and weaknesses, explain the consequences of internationalization for organizational structures and understand the lines of development of knowledge management in corporate practice.

They will be able to classify knowledge management in its fundamental importance for corporate management, discuss the connection between knowledge management and skills development and explain the main features of implementing skills-oriented knowledge management.
