Additional courses in the field of economics
Would you like to continue your education in the field of economics? Our additional modules offer you content at an academic level. Upon successful completion of the module examination, you will earn the specified ECTS credits, which you may be able to have recognized at another university. The host university will decide on recognition. Our degree program is designed to be flexible - i.e. you can start at any time and take an exam almost every month.

The additional modules are also intended in particular for students from other universities who need to collect ECTS in selected areas. It is possible to start at any time and examinations can be taken almost every month. It is therefore possible to complete the module at short notice.
The additional module Basics Microeconomics provides you with a solid basic knowledge of economics, enabling you to take responsibility for decision-making and to take a well-founded, independent position in economic policy discussions. You will be able to recognize and explain general economic principles, apply cost-benefit calculations to problems and assess economic interdependencies and conflicting goals.
Methods are explained in order to be able to analyze the behavior of households on the goods and factor markets and to differentiate between different market forms. Furthermore, you will learn to describe the functioning of markets and to take a critical position on the functioning of markets and on state market interventions. The module concludes with a submission assignment and is fully creditable for the Bachelor's degree course B.A. Business Administration at Allensbach University.
For the additional module Fundamentals of Microeconomics you will receive 6 ECTS Credits.
Tuition fees: 375 EUR
The additional module Fundamentals of macroeconomics enables you to understand complex macroeconomic interdependencies, incorporate macroeconomic framework conditions into business management decisions and develop and independently defend well-founded positions on current economic policy controversies. You will be able to explain the behavior of households and companies on the goods, money and labor markets and understand how a simultaneous equilibrium arises on all markets.
You will also learn to bring together key theoretical models of macroeconomics, to describe real economic development on the basis of quantitative analyses and to derive measures that can be used by politicians to influence economic development.
For the additional module Fundamentals of Macroeconomics you will receive 6 ECTS Credits.
